
On January 12th, the Oppo A36 was released in China. The low-cost smartphone is now available for pre-order in China and will go on sale on January 14th.
Design & Display
The Oppo A36 has a 6.56-inch LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a sampling rate of 180Hz and a resolution of 720p.
The phone is available in two colours: black and blue.
Internals & Storage
The Oppo A36 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone also has a MicroSD slot for up to 1TB of storage expansion.
ColorOS 11.1 is based on Android 11 and runs on the handset.
Camera
The Oppo A36 has a dual rear camera that looks a lot like the Reno7, with two large, vertically aligned circles. The smartphone’s main camera lens has a 13MP sensor, and it also has a second f/2.2 2MP portrait lens.
The smartphone has a punch hole in the top left corner that houses an 8MP camera lens with an aperture of f/2.0.

Battery & Pricing
The Oppo A36 is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery pack that can charge at a rate of up to 10W.
The phone is available for pre-order for CNY 1,599 (approximately $250). The smartphone will go on sale on January 14th.
