
Here’s how to check your jazz sim number
- Dial *99# from your cell phone.
- On your screen, a window containing your phone number will appear.
- You can also verify it by sending a text message to 667.
- MNP should be sent to 667.
- You will receive a message with information such as the owner’s name, CNIC number, and the date of activation.
With over 60 million subscribers, Jazz is Pakistan’s largest mobile network operator. Jazz, formerly known as Mobilink, is one of Pakistan’s leading mobile network and internet service providers. The Russian Alfa Group has owned the company since 2010. In 1994, Saif Group and Motorola Inc. formed a joint venture to form the company.
A bit of Jazz History
Orascom Telecom acquired Motorola’s stake in Mobilink in February 2001, becoming the company’s dominant shareholder. However, in 2010, a Russian telecom operator – Vimpelcom – which is now known as VEON – paid $6.5 billion for the majority of Orascom Telecom’s assets, including Mobilink.
Following Vimpelcom’s acquisition of Pakistan’s Warid Telecom (a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi group), Mobil ink was formally rebranded as ‘Jazz
Jazz was able to use Warid’s technology-neutral licence following the merger, allowing them to become the country’s second LTE mobile network provider at the time. In addition, Jazz received its 4G spectrum from PTA in June 2017. Jazz launched 5G testing for its subscribers earlier this year, making it Pakistan’s second mobile network to successfully test a 5G network.

Method 1
This approach can be used by both prepaid and postpaid jazz customers to determine their Jazz number. Take the actions outlined below.
- Dial *99# from your cell phone.

- On your screen, a window containing your number, i.e. (MSISDN: 923xx-xxxxxxx).

- You will not be charged for using this method to check your number.
Method 2
Customers of all mobile network operators, including Zong, Ufone, Telenor, and Jazz, can use this method. This method may be used by both prepaid and postpaid sim users to examine all of the details about their sim number. Simply follow the steps outlined below.
- Navigate to your mobile’s message app.
- Send the MNP to 667 with the MNP in the message body.

- After a few minutes, you will receive a message with all of the sim information, including the mobile number, sim owner’s name, and activation date.

- This service is not provided for free. It will cost you money to use it.
Jazz sim users can also call the hotline to obtain information such as their SIM number, registration location, owner name, and so on. Dial 111 from your phone to reach the Jazz Helpline. The operator will ask you a few questions, such as your name and CNIC, and will supply you with all of the necessary information.
