
Samsung Electronics is now giving up to four generations of One UI and Android OS upgrades on certain Galaxy smartphones, demonstrating its commitment to providing users with the most up-to-date and secure mobile experience possible.

This upgraded standard expands on Samsung’s prior promise to provide up to three generations of upgrades, ensuring that millions of Galaxy customers have access to the most up-to-date security, productivity, usability, and other features for the duration of their device ownership.
Samsung plans to grow this initiative across its numerous product ranges inside the Galaxy ecosystem and works closely with partners to offer Android OS upgrades through Samsung One UI, which is now available on certain Galaxy S, Z, and A series smartphones and tablets.

Samsung also offers free upgrades to One UI Watch and Wear OS Powered by Samsung for up to four years, ensuring that users have access to the most up-to-date Galaxy Watch experiences.
Samsung will now give up to five years of security updates for select Galaxy devices, in addition to extended One UI improvements. When combined with Samsung’s award-winning defense-grade security platform, Knox, these improvements provide more secure end-to-end protection against potential security threats for Galaxy devices.
Customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy Enterprise Edition will also receive a one-year subscription for Samsung Knox Suite solutions, which will allow them to simply deploy and manage devices via a dashboard that records security upgrades and other features.

Galaxy smartphones with four generations of One UI and a five-year warranty are eligible.
- Galaxy S Series smartphones include the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra, as well as the Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S21 FE, and future S series devices.
- Samsung’s Z series includes the Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3, and forthcoming Z series devices.
- Galaxy A Series: future gadgets from the A series
- Tablets from Samsung include the Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, S8 Ultra, and the forthcoming Tab S series.
- The following Galaxy devices are eligible for up to four years of One UI Watch and Wear OS Powered by Samsung:
- Galaxy Watch devices include the Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic, and forthcoming Galaxy Watch devices.

Up to three generations of One UI upgrades are supported on Galaxy devices that are not qualified for four generations of One UI upgrades.
