Vivo iQOO 9 Will Feature Next-Gen Cameras and Fastest Charging Yet

The iQOO 9 flagship series is only a few days away from release, thus the teaser campaign is already in full swing. The camera, battery, and even display characteristics for the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro have already been confirmed by the Chinese company.

According to the teasers, the iQOO 9 Pro will include a curved Samsung E5 AMOLED display with LTPO 2.0 technology, which saves a lot of energy compared to prior generations. The screen will have a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1000 Hz touch sampling rate, making it the fastest display yet.

The panel will feature a peak brightness of 1500 nits and a pixel density of 517 PPI. According to iQOO, there will be a big ultrasonic fingerprint sensor beneath the display that will work even with dirty or wet fingertips.

The iQOO 9 will also be the first smartphone to incorporate Samsung’s 50MP ISOCELL GN5 camera sensor, which boasts a slew of cutting-edge technologies. A 150° ultrawide-angle lens will be used as the secondary camera, however it will only be available on the Pro model. The camera configuration will also include a 7P lens with Gimbal Stabilization.

Qian previously hinted about 4,700 mAh batteries for the iQOO 9 series but did not specify which models would receive them. Both phones are expected to have a 4,700 mAh battery, but the Pro model will have 120W fast charging. 120W fast charging, which can recharge a dead battery in under 15-20 minutes, is still the quickest charging technology in the smartphone business.

The iQOO 9 will come with 120W GaN chargers, which are cooler than normal chargers. Qian has also managed to reduce their size while maintaining the same performance.
