According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has released a new version for the Android Beta Program.
The update, which brings the version to 2.21.18.1, was submitted through the Google Play Beta Program, according to the platform.
What’s new in this version of the game?
The update brings a slew of new color options to our WhatsApp Android app.
The modifications are particularly noticeable in the chat area, according to WABetaInfo. The chat bubbles, the transmit button, and the navigation bar will all be colored differently.
Both the light and dark modes now have new colors to choose from.

A new colored ring for status updates is also included. A darker backdrop and new icons for the chat sharing sheet are also possibilities, in addition to the color change.

WhatsApp has modified the color of the navigation bar for the light theme, as seen in the image given by WABetaInfo.
The new colors will be available for beta testers on August 23.

In addition, the new version restores the creation date for groups that WhatsApp had previously erased.
Users will now see “Message” instead of “Type a message” as a result of the upgrade.
