Chinese telephony company Xiaomi is rapidly increasing its business overseas and is now more than committed to the global market, with technological giants such as Samsung and Apple outperforming in phone sales by June, a globally famous market research organization Counterpoint stated.
According to the released research, Xiaomi’s sales increased by 26% in June, with 17.1% of Apple’s (14.3%) and Samsung’s rivals on the world smartphone market (15.7 percent ). That said, thanks to Redmi and Poco brand appliances, the Chinese telephone manufacturer has sent more than 800 million handsets over the world since 2011.
In addition, a number of other Counterpoint statistics show that Xiaomi was the European leading telephone brand and had a market share of about 25percent between April and June.
While Xiaomi wants to move its product to high-end segments, Apple and Samsung, which have controlled the flagship space for the past nearly 10 years, still have a long way ahead for the brand.
